Do you ever call the cable company to say, “Thank you for not having an outage in the last month?” Or tell the baggage attendant at the airport, “Thank for you for not losing my suitcase on this flight?” Or stop by the IT department to declare, “Thank you for providing a reliable and secure network?”
Most of us never do these things. That’s why we’re announcing the Infoblox Awards of Excellence, a new program to recognize our customers – often the unsung heroes of IT – who keep networks running and get little to no appreciation for their ceaseless efforts. (For a humorous take on how we see our customers, check out our new video A Day in the Life of Mr. Network.)
Three awards – to the customers who have shown the most measureable results in managing, securing and automating their networks – will be presented on May 18 at Bloxfest, the first customer conference from Infoblox.
Winners will receive a feature story on the Bloxfest web site, a case study from Infoblox, a crystal trophy, and a $1,000 charitable donation to a non-profit organization of the winner’s choice. Entries are due on April 29; further details and the entry form are online at https://www.bloxfest.com/#awards.
Bloxfest (www.bloxfest.com), set for May 17 – 19 at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, will be a gathering of network infrastructure and security practitioners eager to learn and share best practices around DDI, as well as related topics such as security, cloud, and automation. Attendees will hear from their peers, partners, and Infoblox executives in daily keynotes, more than 35 track sessions featuring hands-on labs and technical discussions, and through many opportunities for informal mingling. To register, visit www.bloxfest.com. To join a conversation on the Bloxfest agenda, visit the Bloxfest forum in the Infoblox Experts Community.
