Work hard, play hard. That’s our approach to Bloxfest, the first customer conference from Infoblox, on May 17 – 19 in Boston. We’re going to fill the days at Bloxfest with education, insights and networking among peers. And we’re going to have fun at night.
I’m pleased to announce the big celebration of our customers at Bloxfest will be on the evening of May 18 at Fenway Park, one of the nation’s most historic and beloved baseball stadiums. Home of the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park is perhaps best known for the Green Monster, a 37-foot wall overlooking left field.
Infoblox is renting out the exclusive State Street Pavilion Club at Fenway, with a spectacular view from high above home plate. We’ll have a DJ providing entertainment, vintage video arcade games, and a visit from Wally, the Fenway mascot.
The food will cover all the ball park favorites – hot dogs, popcorn, Cracker Jack, sliders, fries and ice cream sundaes served in souvenir baseball helmets – along with classic Boston delights such as lobster roll and Italian sausage with peppers and onions.
There’s no home game on May 18, which means everyone at the party is invited to take a behind-the-scenes walking tour of Fenway, including the press box, Pesky’s Pole (you aren’t a true Red Sox fan unless you know what that is), the Red Sox Hall of Fame, and (weather permitting) a visit to the top of the Green Monster.
We’re providing round-trip transportation from the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, the site of Bloxfest, so you can go straight from the conference to the party.
If you haven’t already signed up for Bloxfest (www.bloxfest.com), it’s not too late. Tell your boss about all the technical sessions, the demos you’ll see, the vendors you can meet in our Technology Pavilion, and the insights you’ll get from the keynote sessions. The party can be our little secret – your reward for three days of hard but valuable work.
