Remember when we were kids and you got a toy that required batteries? Remember how disappointed you were when you marveled at what seemed like an exciting toy that would come alive with lights and sounds but remained silent due to the lack of power?
That’s precisely how many businesses feel about their technology investments. They spend hard-earned money on new hardware, software, and cloud services without getting the full benefit because they lack an essential component: professional services.
I don’t have to tell you, our partners, the value of those services. According to The 2112 Group, professional services – on average – contribute 20% of partner revenue and generate profit margins of 30% or more for the average partner. Infoblox cares about the profitability and success of our partners. That’s why we’re developing a new professional services program through which partners can deliver top-notch support to our mutual customers, ensuring they get the most out of their Infoblox investments.
DDI management and cybersecurity are too important to risk having gaps in technology deployment. If customers don’t perceive and experience superior outcomes from their investment in Infoblox, including their relationship with you, they’ll find another supplier.
The new Infoblox Partner Professional Services Program, developed in collaboration between the BuildingBlox channel team and the Infoblox Professional Services organization, will provide partners with everything they need to become and stay experts at professional services.
Infoblox will make the program available to Platinum and Gold partners who are in good standing and have completed the requisite PS training and certification requirements.
Participating partners will receive the training, resources, tools and ongoing support needed to deliver DDI management and security professional services to our customers.
Clear rules of engagement will ensure that partners can deliver professional services without any interference from Infoblox. Essentially, we won’t try to sell our professional services to customers that are already engaged with a partner unless the partner opts not to deliver the services.
The program will launch officially in the second quarter of Infoblox’s fiscal-year 2020, when we’ll unveil specifics on qualifications, requirements, and ongoing performance expectations. Our goal is simple: Provide our customers with the best outcomes from their Infoblox investments while simultaneously providing partners with a means of enhancing profitability.
As more customers seek to improve their cybersecurity and network reliability, and to move more resources into the cloud, they’ll need the deft guidance of professionals – such as you, our partners, working with the backing of Infoblox – to ensure they achieve their objectives and reap the benefits of their technology investments.
You’ll hear more about the new Infoblox Professional Services Program in the next few weeks. I’m interested in hearing your thoughts and ideas. Please feel free to share what you think about Infoblox extending professional services through partners. Infoblox always welcomes your feedback.
