Last week, Infoblox and FireEye highlighted our partnership focusing on how we help customers protect from, and respond to APTs.
Our partnership with FireEye started two years ago, and has culminated in software called “Infoblox DNS Firewall-FireEye Adapter.” Some of the highlights we touch upon included:
· Automatic DNS level blocking of detected malware
· Continuous defense against malware plus faster threat response
· Real-time sharing of malicious domains and compromised IP addresses
Enterprises are automatically protected against APTs that exploit DNS by using FireEye NX Series to attain information on the latest bad domains and IP addresses, using Infoblox DNS Firewall to disrupt malware/APT communications to those destinations, and leveraging information on infected devices from Infoblox Reporting, which helps shorten threat response time. Many customers, including Interval Leisure Group, are using this integrated solution already.
