Are you attending VMworld 2017?
VMWare is a great partner of Infoblox and we are very excited to be part of the upcoming annual conference of VMWare, VMworld 2017 starting on August 27, 2017, in Las Vegas.
Last year, we have demonstrated our tight integration with VMware products via a Hands-on-Lab. We have many attendees that have participated. In one attendee’s words, it was the best and quickest way to learn on what the integration can do for his VMware deployment.
So, we are bringing that back again this year.
We’re delighted to announce a brand new Hands-On Lab (HOL) at VMworld 2017 that will demonstrate the tight integration between Infoblox DDI – VMware vRealize Automation and NSX!
The HOL demonstrates how our Infoblox DDI 8.0.5 appliance integrates with VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) 7.3 using the Infoblox IPAM plug-in 4.3 for vRealize Orchestrator 7.3. You can spin up a virtual machine in the cloud, see how we give it an IP address and a DNS host record, and see how we deprovision the VM as well. This hands-on lab will also demonstrate the tight integration with VMware NSX such as the ability to provision an IP address for an NSX load balancer, Distributed Logical Router (DLR) and Edge Security Gateway (ESGW). Visitors to the HOL will also see how we update the Cloud Network Automation (CNA) tab with useful info.
It will take about 45 minutes to run through the entire demonstration.
The lab title is “HOL-1821-03-CMP-vRealize Automation Advanced Extensibility” then take Module 2 – “Infoblox IPAM Integration with vRealize Automation” (developed by Jarrett Blandin from VMware). This HOL will be made available to all VMworld 2017 attendees in Las Vegas and Barcelona. The HOL is expected to be publicly accessible in early Oct 2017.
